How to Reset a Telstra Smart Senior.

Learn how to soft reset (reboot without losing files), factory reset via the Settings application, or hard reset your Telstra Smart Senior using hardware button combinations inside Android Recovery or iOS DFU mode.

Soft Reset (Force Restart)

Step 1Hold Power + Volume Down for 10-15 seconds

Keep holding until the screen turns off and the device restarts.

Factory Reset via Settings

Step 1Settings -> System -> Reset Options

Navigate to system options.

Step 2Select "Factory Data Reset" or "Erase All Data"

Confirm with lock code.

Factory Reset via Recovery Mode

⚠️ Warning: Erases all user files. Google Factory Reset Protection (FRP) will trigger. You will need the logged-in Google account.

Step 1Power off completely

Wait 30 seconds.

Step 2Hold Power + Volume Down (or Volume Up)

Hold until the brand logo appears. Release.

Step 3Select "Wipe data/factory reset"

Use Volume keys to scroll and Power key to select.

Step 4Reboot system now

Restart device.
